This garden railway was built in a flat area that formerly was a rose garden.
Seventy cubic yards of fill and nearly four years of effort were required to
build this impressive layout. The railway features more than 350 feet of track
on two separate loops. All units are track-powered. The lower loop has sweeping
curves and a long passing siding. A set of Santa Fe warbonnet A-B-A diesels head
up an impressive stainless steel streamliner passenger train on the lower loop;
all streamliner components are from USA Trains. A vintage steam passenger train
runs on the upper loop. There are several water features on the layout including
a waterfall, a stream and a pond that dominate the south end of the layout.
